Jeffrey Wolsleger, CFO
Bio - Vice president of WSR sales and management

an accomplished businessman with strong ties to
the community.
Since he first became a Cub Scout at age eight, Jeffrey has
cultivated
a love of the outdoors. Throughout his own youth,
he
participated
actively in the Boy Scouts, achieving Eagle
Scout
status by the age
of 18. The experiences he
enjoyed
were so meaningful, Jeffrey
promised to “give back” and
has fulfilled his pledge by being a
Boy
Scout leader for the
past 15 years.
Jeffrey and his wife, Jenny, live in Riverside with their
eight-year-old
daughter, their seven-year-old son, and
their
three-year-old daughter.
As a family, they enjoy
playing
together, camping, exploring and
Geocaching.
Jeffrey is enthusiastic about youth programs that get
kids out
into
nature. “When you get them away from
their comfortable
environment, they have to face new
challenges. They grow
mentally
and spiritually, and
they bring that back home. It
helps them build
character and confidence,”
he says. |
Rebecca Griffiths - Secretary
Bio - Rebecca has almost 15
years’ experience working with young
people.
A teacher in the
Riverside Unified School District, she taught
middle school
for
seven years before “graduating” to high school
almost eight
years ago. She has also worked with all ages of youth
in church
school, from “cribs and crawlers” to teens.
A resident of Riverside, California, Rebecca and her husband,
Bobby G, have three boys, ages six, four and two.
In her “spare” time, Rebecca enjoys following international
news,
reading, hiking, camping, and travel.
She’s very excited about the prospect of taking young people on
adventures that lead them into the heart of God in nature, where
they can witness for themselves the awesome wonder of God’s
power and meet their Maker personally. |
Don Salva, Senior Advisor / Consultant
Bio - Having over 25 years of active adult Boy Scout Leadership experience, Don provides extensive skills, knowledge, and resources to our organization. His dedication to outdoor programs, and youth, is enviable. He has served, in Scouting, as an Assistant Scoutmaster; Scoutmaster; District Committee Member; District Committee Chairman; Council High Adventure Team Chairman; Council Executive Board Member; and, currently, Council Advisory Committee Member, and River Valley District Committee Member. Don is also an educator and has served on several week-long Council Training Programs, including: Buckskin National Junior Leader Training Conference; Wood Badge Adult Leader Training (7 times); and Foxfire Advanced Junior Leadership Training Program (6 times including Course Director in 2000).
As a member of the Council’s High Adventure Team, Don provided leadership and program development in such areas as Backpacking; Desert Awareness, Wilderness Survival; Outdoor Cooking; and Snow Camping. He has received numerous awards in Scouting including: District Award of Merit; National Scoutmaster’s Award of Merit; Heroism Award for saving life; and the California Inland Empire Council’s highest award, the Silver Beaver. He is also a Brotherhood Member in the Cahuilla Lodge, Order of the Arrow and holds the Vigil Honor.
He served as a member of the faculty of Loma Linda University’s Drayson Center for nine years where he taught courses in Wilderness Survival.
He is a Viet-Nam era veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 79. He has also served as a National Rifle Association rifle, pistol, shotgun, and home firearms safety instructor.
Don is a successful sales representative in the food service equipment industry and has completed numerous sales and leadership related workshops and seminars.
He and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 38 years and have two adult children. They reside in Riverside, CA.

Mr. Robert Borruel, Board Member
Bio - Robert was born in Needles and grew up in Barstow, California. He attended
Barstow High School, lettered in football and baseball, and coached youth
baseball. He attended Pasadena City College, lettering in football and
baseball.
He is married to his sweetheart of 20 years, Denise, and he is the father of
three boys, Antonio, Lil' Robert, and Aaron. Recently, he was blessed to become
the grandfather of a beautiful little girl, Autumn Layce.
While growing up, Robert was involved in sports, hunting, fishing, camping,
coaching youth sports, and the outdoors. These traits he has passed on to his
children. Robert is an active hunter, fisherman, golfer, and family man who
loves camping and the outdoors.
Robert has owned and operated his own business in Riverside for the last 15
years. He is an active member in his church, being involved in Childrens
Religious Education as a teacher, various Renew & Prayer Groups, and Men's
Ministry.
Robert has always been involved with youth in some form of activity or sport
throughout his life, coaching his own kids in T-ball, Little League baseball,
and high school hockey, and that's why he supports this organization.
"Kids need some form of outdoor activity, outdoor experience, and
guidance to truly appreciate what God has blessed us with in this world"
he says. "Being in the outdoors has allowed me to appreciate God's
blessings and develop lifelong friendships with fellow hunters, golfers, and
outdoorsmen."

Dr. Ronald Burton, M.D., Board Member
Bio - Dr. Ronald Burton, M.D. is a General Practitioner at Saint Bernardine’s Hospital in San Bernardino, California. A native of Jamaica, Dr. Ron has a heart for youth and is also actively involved with church affairs.
An accomplished musician and singer, he also brings a special love for the outdoors to the team. Dr. Ron expects to commit 5 hours a week of his time to this worthwhile cause and will also act as the team’s medical expert |
